11/5/2022 0 Comments Rama krishna tamil movieRamakrishna’s refreshing innocence makes one laugh as the comedy is clean the sentimental scenes work out well too. Despite the limited screen-time Ramakrishna’s mom and Bhanumathi’s dad get, their scenes leave a mark and are thankfully devoid of any preaching. Srikanth truly excels in shifting well-written characters to screen from paper without any mess. While it’s obvious that opposites attract, what makes this film special is the carefree and mature writing. Just the kind of behaviour Bhanumathi hates. He’s pure, filled with small-town innocence and things like celebrating Sankranthi with his family are what make him truly happy. And then there’s Ramakrishna, a man from a middle-class family in Tenali who joins her team at the office. Instead, she goes shopping, grabs burger meals, dyes her hair and goes on blind dates. There are no melodramatic tears despite the stress. Her boyfriend Ram dumps her for a 24-year-old girl and Srikanth shows brilliantly how she handles it. She is unapologetic about her life’s choices and she hates mediocrity, especially from her men. Director Srikanth Nagothi keeps the story simple and sensible in this direct-OTT film that’s less than two-hours long.īhanumathi is an urban woman who’s killing it in the corporate world and is more focused on her career and being independent than anything else. Review: As the new title of the film – Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna – suggests, the lead pair here are two different fluids that try to fit into one bottle, all while breaking stereotypes. What happens when these two individuals explore each other’s lives? Ramakrishna (Naveen Chandra), who’s closer to her age and from Tenali, joins the team. After she is dumped by her boyfriend, she goes through anxiety due to those around her. Story: Bhanumathi (Salony Luthra) is in her thirties, carefree about the kind of judgements on her choices.
